Tilicho lake is the lake situated in the highest altitude i.e. 5000 meters fro the sea level and is the area of rough and wild beauty. This lake is mentioned as the holy lake by the Hindus pilgrims as one event in the holy epic called Ramayan is said to be held in this lake thousands of year ago. This is not a prohibited area but is difficult for it's visitors to reach there due to it's remoteness and the harsh climatic conditions and the altitude. It is a glacier lake offering a spectacular view which helps to refresh our body, mind and the soul.
